it might also be a good idea to ask around in some of the poly tribes (polyamoury, ethical sluts, etc. and some of the gay and bi men's tribes). also try asking in the queer sex parties tribe, there's lots of dudes in there. -

I would love to be able to meet other queer polys..I meet men who are interested in the concept here in Mpls, but none who are ready to come out again...
All of the poly men I've met here are straight/bi. I can't be the only one here! I feel kind of alone as gay and poly here, but not lonely.
My two relationships (12 years and 2 years) are strong, and continue to "undefine"... For lack of a standard relationship term, I've begun calling them my "Flux-Buddies".

Wed, January 11, 2006 - 7:22 PMjosh has proposed the cafe at the glbt center in sf. i think it's an excellent idea. we'll have to schedule the time around their hours.
let's start talking possible days. what about 2/11/06? there is nothing on that saturday on the leather calendar or poly calendar. (and it's right before valentine's day, so if you find a nice new guy...)
can we get the word out in time? should we make the date later? the next saturday with nothing else scheduled is 3/11.

Wed, January 11, 2006 - 9:11 PMI don't see why that wouldn't work, unless folks don't like it so close to V-day. It would have to be after Wilde Chats, which meets there the 2nd & 4th Saturdays at 10:30am.
I think it's possible to do 2/11 in time. Do folks prefer Saturdays, or week nights?
In fact, if anyone would be up for an informal get-together before that, I don't mind appearing over-eager <laugh> I'm way ready for a new social setting. -

the cafe isn't that big, but it often can accomodate more than one group meeting at a time. (for example, Wilde Chats and Radical Faerie coffee used to overlap on Saturday mornings. it's been a few months since i've been there, but i'm guessing little has changed . . . .)
just because something is already on the schedule at the cafe doesn't mean that something else can't happen there at the same time. besides, the glbt center is pretty big and you could probably reserve a different space upstairs somewhere. . . .
wishing i were back in the bay area. . . .

Fri, January 13, 2006 - 1:12 PMI'm very interested. I'm in a new relationship and we are exploring poly together. I've always been one of the "others". So it's very different putting this into practice with a primary.
It's been quite a journy some bumps in the road but all and all good.

I am not sure how the poly thing relates to me exactly, but I do know that recently I have been much more interested in what I *think* poly is. I think it would be a good learning experience for me. I would like to see how others manage such relationships and learn from them. Keep me posted.
