So I've recently begun my first poly relationship with my girlfriend of 5 years. I've been immersing myself in as much poly info as I can find because this is so new to us all. The one thing I haven't found are other women who have been in FFF triads to learn from. The relationship is very heathy, thus-far...I just like being able to relate to other women and their experiences.
Are there any in this tribe...or do you know of any?

Re: FFF Triads
Fri, July 28, 2006 - 8:10 AMIf you haven't tried the polyamory community on livejournal, there are a handful of women there in FFF situations, though I don't know how many of them are in traids specifically.

Re: FFF Triads
Fri, July 28, 2006 - 3:58 PMare you looking to be in V type triad or a complete triad? I've been in many V's before but I haven't found a perfect triangle although we do have a casual quad relationship.
there is a book called lesbian polyfidelity as well as the ethical slut talks a bit about triads.
The general poly tribe is a bit too hetero for me.
did you have any specific questions?

Thank you for the referral to livejournal. I have heard a lot about that site and have never really visited. I will check it out :)

Thank you for your reply! How long have you been with your partners? Are you exclusive? What have your biggest challenges been? Look forward to getting to know you.

Thus far, our relationship has developed into a complete triad. I will look for both of those books, thank you. I have heard a lot about The Ethical Slut. I agree about the general poly tribe, however, I still learn a lot from them.
Question: Having been in several V's, what appeals to you about a triad and what concerns you about making that transition?
